Program and Schedule
We are very excited about the program we have planned for you. It includes Spotlight Interviews with our Guests of Honor, a Live Charity Auction, Bowling for Charity, Live Music, and much more! Here’s what we have so far – keep checking back, because we’ll be adding more events. It’s Bouchercon, so you never know what kind of surprises we might have up our sleeves.

Wednesday, September 14
Pre-registration from 3:00 to 5:00
6:00: Charlaine Harris and Laurell Hamilton at the St Louis City Library (there’s a fee for this event, which benefits the library)
Thursday, September 15
Panels: 8:30 – 5:00
Hospitality Room: 9:00 – 11:30 and 1:30 – 4:30
Opening Ceremonies: 7:00 – 9:00
Friday, September 16
Panels: 8:30 – 5:00
Hospitality Room: 9:00 – 11:30 and 1:30 – 4:30
Bowling Tournament ($5 cover charge benefits our charity): 12:30 – 3:30
Live Charity Auction, featuring Mark Billingham and Laura Lippman: 9:00 – 11:00
Saturday, September 17
Panels: 8:30 – 5:00

Silent Auction ends at 3:00

Program Participation – Panels
The programming chairs are Judy Bobalik & Ruth Jordan. All panel correspondence is to be done with the panel chairs, ONLY. If you contact the Bouchercon chair or anyone else, your email may or may not be forwarded to the correct people.
To be considered for a panel you MUST BE REGISTERED by June 22nd.
The panels are open to anyone who has something to contribute. However, we have more volunteers than we have panel slots, so every volunteer will not be assigned to a panel. Being registered early doesn’t ensure a place on a panel. The more available you are, the better the chance of getting a panel assignment (if you are only at Bouchercon Saturday afternoon your likelihood of getting a panel assignment drops heavily).
We expect panel scheduling to be complete about a month before Bouchercon, and will update you when we have a final date. Panelists will be notified by day: Thursday panelists will be notified first; Friday panelists a couple of days later; and so on.
